Things in my life get like this sometimes.
I’ll find something new, or get reunited with a hobby I used to thoroughly enjoy, and I just throw myself head-first back into it and do it every chance that I get.
Since I started this blog I have been to the library at least ten times.
This week alone, I’ve been three times.
It’s just that it’s so close to me and there’s so much awesomeness just waiting inside for me to discover… best of all it’s FREE. Free right now, free tomorrow, it always has been, and hopefully it always will be. (It always will be, right?!)
When it comes to music…I realize that I’ve taken things too far.
I’ve checked out (and returned) over 30 cds.
That’s a LOT of music. I can’t possibly have listened to ALL that music already. I haven’t. Not even close. Yet that doesn’t stop me from getting different music the next time I go.
I just load them on my computer and save them for later.
I’m acting like all the sudden tomorrow there will be no more cd’s at the library.
Today alone I returned 7 cd’s and checked out 8 new ones.
Maybe I need to limit myself.
A 7 cd per week limit?
& I’ve taken back that “I Remember You” romance novel because of various reasons. No, I didn’t read it. A few pages… just didn’t grip me. I also have other books checked out.
After returning that book I found two more.
And I’ve decided to read them both simultaneously.
[Both books are also rated 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon, which I am only noticing as I look them up online. SCORE!]
This is the first time in… possibly my whole life where I’ve actively read two different fiction books at once. I’ve always just found one, read it, and moved onto the next. I’m curious to see how I handle two at once. I try to spend at least 20 minutes each day reading each book. More of I can, but I sometime’s only have 20 or less. There has to be more time in the day!
I also checked out two other books- one about photography, and the other is a vegan cook book. There are no pictures in this cook book, which does make it less appealing, but I’m going to make SOMETHING from the book before I return it to the library…
Then I’ll find a cook book with pictures.
